Use Characteristics Organic blowing agent Konson® AC-75 can be used in all types of sponge, particularly adapted for microcellular expanded products where it develops an extremely fine, uniform cell structure. Relatively high decomposition temperature of 200°C to 210°C, makes it useful where pre-mature decomposition during processing is a hazard. Imparts no odor to finished products.
Processing Advantages The thermosofting, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easily and quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective raw material AC is assured. AC-75 allows for quicker and easier incorporation into the compound either late in a banbury mix cycle or in a open mill finishing operation.
Dosage levels Normally 1 to 10 phr based on the requirements of the density of sponge.
Applications All types of sponge rubber articles.
Packing Net 25 kg cartons with plastic inner.
Storage stability Under cool (< 35 °C), dry (< 50 % relative humidity) conditions, sealed original containers have a shelf-life of 1 year.
